Bath Farmers’ Market at Green Park Station
One of the first farmers’ markets in the country, every Saturday under a Victorian station roof.
Green Park Station lost its trains in the 1960s and kept its glass roof, and under it every Saturday morning are Somerset cheeses, bread, cider, vegetables and a street-food row. Under cover, so it runs in any weather; come before eleven for the best of it. Cafés and independent shops fill the station the rest of the week.
When it works
Mostly under cover, so light rain is fine. Best morning.
Good for locals' favourite and groups.
