Birmingham Hippodrome

The busiest theatre in the country, with touring musicals and Birmingham Royal Ballet.

The Hippodrome takes the big West End tours and is the home of Birmingham Royal Ballet, with a season that fills most nights. It sits in Southside, beside Chinatown and the Gay Village, so dinner beforehand is easy. Indoors and ticketed; midweek seats are cheaper.
