Birmingham Museum and Art Gallery
The biggest Pre-Raphaelite collection in the world, in a Victorian palace of a museum, free.
Burne-Jones, Rossetti and Millais fill the galleries, alongside the Staffordshire Hoard's Anglo-Saxon gold and the Edwardian tea room. The building has been under phased reopening since 2022, so check which galleries are open before you go. Free, central and right beside the library.
