Bristol Old Vic

The oldest continuously working theatre in the English-speaking world, with a glass-fronted foyer.

The 1766 auditorium is a jewel and the 2018 foyer opened it to the street, with a bar that works even if you are not seeing a show. The programme mixes new writing with big touring productions. King Street outside is lined with pubs and cider bars for afterwards.
