Bristol Hippodrome
A 1,900-seat Edwardian theatre for the big touring musicals.
The Hippodrome is where the West End shows come on tour, in a Frank Matcham auditorium with a dome that opens. Tickets are not cheap, but midweek and matinee seats are often discounted. It is in the centre, indoors and the obvious wet-evening answer for a group.

Indoors, so the weather does not matter. Best afternoon, evening.
