Bristol Cathedral
A medieval hall church with a rare Norman chapter house, free, on College Green.
Unusual among English cathedrals in having aisles the same height as the nave, which gives it a lightness the others lack. The Norman chapter house is one of the finest in the country. Free, quiet and beside the Harbourside, so an easy shelter on a wet afternoon.

Indoors, so the weather does not matter. Best morning, afternoon.
