Arnolfini

Contemporary art in a harbourside warehouse, free, with a bookshop and a bar.

Arnolfini has been the city's contemporary art centre since the 1960s and its shows change every few months, always free. The bookshop is one of the best in the West Country and the café spills onto the quay. A calm hour on a wet afternoon, and right on the harbour loop.

Indoors, so the weather does not matter. Best morning, afternoon, evening.

Good for a date, going solo and step-free visits.
