Guru/Bristol/M Shed

M Shed

The story of Bristol in a dockside transit shed, with working cranes outside, free.

M Shed is the museum of the city itself: slavery and the Colston statue, Concorde, Wallace and Gromit, Massive Attack. The cranes and the steam railway outside run on event days. It is free, on the harbour and next to the bars of Wapping Wharf, which makes it the easiest wet-hour in Bristol.

When it works

Indoors, so the weather does not matter. Best morning, afternoon.

Good for kids, a first visit and step-free visits.
