Wapping Wharf and Cargo

Shipping containers stacked into restaurants and bars on the south side of the harbour.

Cargo is two blocks of converted containers with a dozen small restaurants, a bakery, a cider bar and a chocolate maker, next to the bigger restaurants on Gaol Ferry Steps. It is where Bristol eats on a Friday night, with the harbour in front of you. Book for dinner; walk in for lunch.

When it works

Mostly under cover, so light rain is fine. Best afternoon, evening, night.
