The Stand Comedy Club
A basement comedy club with shows most nights and a free improv session on Sundays.
The Stand is where Scottish stand-up gets made, in a low-ceilinged room where the front row is part of the act. There are shows most nights, cheap early-week gigs and a free lunchtime show on Sundays. Book online; weekend shows sell out. Warm, dry and a reliable answer to a wet night.
When it works
Indoors, so the weather does not matter. Best evening, night.
