Leeds Corn Exchange
A Victorian domed trading hall full of independent shops, cafés and makers.
The oval hall under its great ribbed dome was built for grain traders in 1863 and now holds two floors of independent shops: vintage, jewellery, records, a bakery and a couple of cafés. It is free to browse, warm and dry, and the streets around it are the start of the evening bar circuit.
When it works
Indoors, so the weather does not matter. Best morning, afternoon.
