St James's Park and Buckingham Palace

The prettiest of the central parks and the one to walk through between Westminster and Buckingham Palace. Changing the Guard happens on set mornings and draws crowds; the pelicans are fed mid-afternoon by the lake. Free, flat and easy, and a good first stroll on arrival.
