West End theatre

Forty theatres within a few streets; same-day tickets are easier than people think.

Musicals on Shaftesbury Avenue, plays around St Martin's Lane and the National on the South Bank. The TKTS booth on Leicester Square sells discounted same-day seats, and many theatres release day seats in the morning. It is the obvious answer to a wet evening in the middle of town.

Indoors, so the weather does not matter. Best evening.
