Surgeons' Hall Museums

Anatomy, pathology and the story of Burke and Hare, in the Royal College of Surgeons.

Not for the squeamish: the pathology collection is graphic, the history of surgery gallery is fascinating and the Burke and Hare exhibit includes a pocketbook bound in Burke's skin. It is ticketed, indoors and a short walk from the National Museum. An unusual wet-afternoon choice for adults.
