A gilded Victorian theatre that is home to Opera North and the big touring musicals.

The Grand is a Victorian confection of plaster and gold leaf that hosts Opera North's seasons, touring West End musicals and Northern Ballet. Tickets for the opera are cheaper than people expect, especially midweek. Central, indoors and a proper night out.

Indoors, so the weather does not matter. Best evening.
