Leeds Playhouse

One of the country’s best producing theatres, with new work and big revivals on two stages.

The Playhouse makes its own shows rather than taking tours, and its reputation for new writing and musicals is national. Two auditoriums, a good bar and a programme that mixes serious drama with family shows at Christmas. Indoors, on the edge of the centre, and the obvious plan for a wet evening.

When it works

Indoors, so the weather does not matter. Best evening.

Good for a date, groups and step-free visits.
