Leake Street Arches
A legal graffiti tunnel under Waterloo station, repainted daily and dry in any weather.
Three hundred metres of tunnel where painting is allowed, so the walls change constantly. It is covered, free and a two-minute walk from the London Eye, which makes it a good rainy-day detour. A handful of bars and restaurants have opened in the arches for the evening.
When it works
Mostly under cover, so light rain is fine. Best morning, afternoon, evening.
Good for going solo, groups and locals' favourite.
