Prior Park Landscape Garden

Ralph Allen's garden drops down a valley from his mansion to three lakes and one of only four Palladian bridges in the world, with Bath laid out in the gap. It is National Trust, ticketed, and has no parking, so walk up from the city or take the bus. Steep paths; a fine-weather choice.
