The Science Centre is the wet-day family answer: hundreds of interactive exhibits, a planetarium, a BodyWorks gallery and the tower next door with a rotating viewing cabin. Ticketed, entirely indoors and busiest in school holidays. Across the river from the Riverside Museum by footbridge.

Indoors, so the weather does not matter. Best morning, afternoon.
