Guru/Liverpool/Lark Lane

Lark Lane

A village street of cafés, bars and restaurants at the gate of Sefton Park.

Lark Lane is where the south of the city eats: brunch places, a wine bar, tapas, a Greek, a couple of good pubs and the ice-cream shop for the park. It works as a lunch stop after Sefton Park or as an evening in its own right, and it is a short train ride from the centre. Sundays are the busiest.

When it works

Partly outdoors: better on a dry day, with shelter if it turns. Best morning, afternoon, evening.

Good for locals' favourite, a date and groups.
