Glasgow Film Theatre

An Art Deco independent cinema with three screens and a bar, home of the Glasgow Film Festival.

The GFT has shown independent, world and classic cinema since 1939, and its Art Deco auditorium is one of the best rooms in the city to watch a film in. Three screens, a café-bar and cheap tickets for students and under-16s. Two minutes from Sauchiehall Street, and the answer to a wet evening.

When it works

Indoors, so the weather does not matter. Best afternoon, evening, night.
