Mackintosh at the Willow
Charles Rennie Mackintosh’s tea rooms restored to 1903, with afternoon tea in the Salon de Luxe.
The Willow Tea Rooms were Mackintosh's complete design, from the chairs to the cutlery, and the 2018 restoration put them back as they were. You can take tea in the rooms, with the Salon de Luxe the one to book, and the exhibition upstairs explains the man and the city. Indoors, central and a good rainy-afternoon treat.

Indoors, so the weather does not matter. Best morning, afternoon. Exhibition cheap; tea by booking.
