King Tut's Wah Wah Hut

The 300-capacity venue where Oasis were signed, with a gig almost every night.

King Tut's is a small bar downstairs and a low-ceilinged room upstairs that has hosted Radiohead, Blur, the Verve and the night Alan McGee saw Oasis. There is a show most nights, tickets are cheap and the sound is good. The stairs list the bands who have played; it is a long list.

When it works

Indoors, so the weather does not matter. Best evening, night.
